“The challenges for the manufacturing industry are not getting any easier”, asserts PFERD Product Manager Marco Steinwand. “Alongside the massive rise in costs, the skills shortage is causing difficulties for many companies.” The order books are largely filled up but there is a lack of personnel to carry out the work.

The CC-GRIND-ROBUST SGP version doubles the performance once again, thanks to VICTOGRAIN high-performance abrasive grain. “This leads to major savings in terms of the staff required thanks to significantly reduced grinding times. Our customers gain time and production capacities – important advantages when dealing with limited manpower.”

CC-GRIND-ROBUST comes in two different versions with two diameters each. Suitable for steel and stainless steel (INOX) machining and offering high grinding performance and maximum tool life, the CC-GRIND-ROBUST SG STEELOX already offers numerous advantages over the conventional roughing and grinding discs. “It is very good for surface work but also ideal for use on edges, deburring for example”, says Steinwand. The CC-GRINDROBUST SGP STEELOX version is characterized by its precision formed, triangular, high-performance abrasive grain VICTOGRAIN, which is equally suited to use on steel or stainless steel (INOX). “We have VICTOGRAIN to thank here for the highest grinding performance and outstanding tool life.”

This version is especially recommended for surface work and for achieving the fastest possible work progress.

“The fibreglass-reinforced plastic backer guarantees equally robust and safe use”, adds Marco Steinwand. “Due to the high dimensional stability high quality can also be achieved on flat surfaces, unlike with flap discs.”
